Maryann sat behind me for eight years at St Catherine of Siena Elementary School (alphabetical order--Garvey-Geskie). We went on to Sacred Heart Academy together. Lots of fond and fun memories--Maryann was in charge of birthday celebrations in our grade school class and always made sure all the girls got a corsage. In high school she loved to debate with the nuns and said things we all wished we had the nerve to say. Rest in peace, dear Maryann!

May your soul Rest in Peace Maryanne, I remember the wonderful times we spent together when we were little girls, playing with our Nina/Tina ballerina dolls, playing house, playing in your yard, hiding in my bedroom when it was time to go home or hiding me in the car, we were good buddies. We lost touch as adults, but I feel very blessed to have spoken to you earlier this year, it melted the years away. I know that there's a special place in Heaven for you, you took good care of many, God Speed my cousin and my friend, I love you.

I am so very saddend to hear of Maryann’s passing. I first met her in the 1980’s at Franklin hospital. Years later after a devastating divorce she took a chance on me and rehired me after I was out of nursing for a while. This led to a long a very successful career for me to which she played an instrumental part. I will never forget her and her passion for her all she did. I remember one story she told me about working the night shift when her children were born and trying to take care of them during the day and catching periodic cat naps. Such a beautiful person. So sorry I lost touch with her over the years. My thoughts and prayers are with you all
