Rosemary Mango left a message on October 23, 2020:
Many wonderful memories come into my mind when I think of my dear friend Nancy AKA "The Hugger", and the times we shared...I remember picking her up in the early AM to take classes at the Cenacle. Joey, still in his car seat, would be the object of her delight! Joey could be heard uttering "oh no" but to no avail! as she hugged him! I also remember when we were asked by the sisters to make a special celebration dinner for Bishop McGann and Company. Well ..we recruited dear friend Jean Florio and needless to say the dinner and the party was a great success,......Needless to say the party was a great success and the 3 of us had enough blessings to last a lifetime! Time and again, Nancy was always there in good times and in those times when you needed a shoulder to cry on! As we got older age and disabilities kept us apart -but when we did meet the spark of love and friendship proved to be undiminished by time! Dear Friend....Rest in Peace.....Love is Forever!!
Paul, Kathy & Amanda Borowski left a message on October 23, 2020:
Dear Van, Paul, Maria and family, Our thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathies are with you all on the loss of your mother. Nancy was one of a kind and loved by many including us, as being a neighbor not far from us from Cardinal Lane to Hawk Lane, being at St Thomas More or seeing her with my dad at Young at Heart. She always had a smile and laugh and light up the room. She will be missed. Love, Paul, Kathy & Amanda Borowski
Toni Medeiros (Cozzi) left a message on October 22, 2020:
Dear Van, Paul, and Maria, Ron and I are so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. She was a special lady, and an even more special mom! I remember her joyful spirit and lightheartedness, especially when she was cutting my hair, 10 inches shorter than I expected! More than being a special lady, Aunt Nancy was a woman of faith in Christ, and we will see her again healed and whole, in heaven! Much love and prayers for deep comfort during this time, Ron and Toni Medeiros (Cozzi)
