Dear Janet and family,
When thinking of Nick two words come to mind....friend and supporter!
At school when I was looking for faculty support for a new policy or change Nick always had my back.
Of course a championship game that Nick coached was a must for me to attend.
His success made me proud to be his friend.
But our everyday school contact was something I always looked forward to particularly his natural levity and his ability to tell me exactly how he saw things with no ifs, ands or buts.
Although I live far from Ronkonkoma today, my fond association with Nick will always be with me.

I am so sorry to hear of Nick’s passing. I have such wonderful memories of the parties at Uncle Joe and Virginia’s home and then at baseball with our sons. You’re a beautiful family. May God bless the Masi family with love and peace.
We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Nick. Our prayers are with Nick and his family. Love Cathy and Peter
My condolences to the Masi family. He taught me more lessons in gym class than I learned in any other subject. I learned respect, discipline and that no matter what happens in life if you give a 100%, you have succeeded. I wish his brand of teaching was still allowed today. It worked better than how they teach today!! Rest in peace.
in memory of coach Nick Masi one of long islands greatest football coaches and prayers go out to his family
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Very, very saddened by the news and my heart goes out to his family and all of T-Bird Nation. Nick Masi was a great inspiration to all of us who were fortunate to call him Coach. Nearly 30 years have gone by, and I still reflect back to the lessons he taught me, and the motivation he instilled to strive to be better. “If it doesn’t happen in practice, it doesn’t happen!” You will be greatly missed, Coach, but never, ever, forgotten.

Arriverderci, Cuz. You leave behind a family that loved you very much. I recall the jogyous times we spent at holidays, BBQ’s and family events. I recall the happiness in your face at each of your children ‘s weddings.
But most of all I remember the times you took me out on your clam boat in the GreatSouth Bay. Coming back to your apartment with Jan and watching you work on your craft business.. It was a half century ago, but it seems like yesterday to me.
Tell my father I said Hi.
Mr. Masi, Coach, Nick,
Peace and farewell on your final journey. Condolences to the Masi family, sorry for your loss.
CHS lost another good one. Say hey to Ambro.
Please accept our deepest condolences for your family's loss.
