I remember Aunt Lee as funny and full of life. Particularly at Holidays in my home when I was young. Great memories with extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents.

As a younger cousin that picture of Lee and Pete depicts her personality exactly as I remember her. She was vibrant , fun loving and beautiful.

Theresa Tucker left a message on December 1, 2019:
A celebration of my mom, Lee Trua's, life. My mother was a very caring mom, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and sister. Over the years, my mom was very well liked and was cheerful even through all the challenges that life presented. My mother took care of her husband while he was sick and who had passed away at the age of 49 from cancer. Soon after, her son Peter Jr. was in an accident and became a paraplegic. My mom took care of him daily for over 20 years. Peter Jr. went on to the Special Olympics and traveled all over the United States. My mother lost her only son, Peter Jr., 19 years ago to cancer. My mother took care of me and my two daughters. Due to her unfortunate health conditions we were lucky to be able to bring her to White Oaks nursing home. There she went on trips, did arts and crafts and played blackjack and bingo, which was her favorite. I was blessed to to be able to share this time with her. My mother has gone on to be with her husband and her son. The picture of my mother and my brother are of them dancing at a wedding. That was the last dance they had together. They are now dancing in Heaven. God bless. With Love, Theresa Trua-Tucker
