Richard H. Mckenna

Richard H. McKenna of South Setauket, New York passed away on February 7,2020 at the Long Island Veterans Home, Stonybrook, New York. He is survived by his wife Dorothy McKenna, his three children Richard “Ricky” McKenna, Thomas McKenna, and Deborah Hahne as well as his two step-children Michael Daly and Barbara Pike. Proud grandfather of five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Predeceased by his first wife Virginia “Cookie”, and his godchild Nancy Daly. Richard was a police officer with the NYPD for 35 years and retired as a Lieutenant. He also served our country proudly in the Army, and was in the Honor Guard in Washington DC. He was a distinguished pilot and enjoyed flying.
