Richie was my friend for 65 years. We go back to Williamsburg. His dad Howard was my surrogate dad. My father died when I was ten. I do not recall Richie ever being angry or short tempered. He was a gentle, sweet and kindly friend. I shall miss him more than any words can express. He was the friend of my youth. He grew up to be one of the finest men I have known. His memory and legacy are assured. May G-d keep him close. David Petch Pechenick

What a perfect picture to choose for Richie! Are we not in Liz's beautiful kitchen waiting for Richie to serve us some of his fabulous appetizers, while Liz sets about making another delicious meal? So many laughs and so many good times! Richie was always reaching out to family and friends with his kind heart and generous nature. We are so grateful to have had him in our life. Rest in peace, Richie.

Richie, you were such a kind person and even though I didn't know you very well outside of Seagrave, you were always so great to work with and always nice to me. It was a bonus when I'd get to see you at a fire show. It hurts that I didn't know you were sick. I missed an opportunity to reach out to you from across the miles and tell you first hand that you were one of my favorites! I am praying for you and your beautiful family, your true legacy.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss of Richie. I was in charge of sales and marketing for Seagrave and arranged for him and Ray to be a dealer for Seagrave. I enjoyed not only the business relationship but also the personal friendship we had doing business together. He will be missed by all. Best regards Rollie Myers
