Ronald Max Fehr Jr.

Ronald Max Fehr Jr., or better known as Chip, died unexpectedly Saturday February 6, 2021 at the age of 57. Chip is survived by his parents, his siblings, and his children Max, Samantha, and Michael. He is predeceased by his wife, Susan Fehr (née Schiro). Chip was born in Hauppauge to Ronald Fehr Sr. and Barbara Rinaldi on August 25th, 1963. He attended Hauppauge school district until high school where he enrolled into the class of 1981 at La Salle Military Academy in Oakdale, NY. He worked for Pav-Co Asphalt for 30+ years. He married Susan on December 1st, 1990 and on December 6th, 1993 and April 7th, 1995 he welcomed into the world Max and Samantha.

Chip loved golfing and making those around him laugh and would always have a witty joke to add to the conversation. He enjoyed films and a yearly binge of westerns. Animals also brought much comfort as he was never without one. Chip was a talented cook and a master at the smoker. To this day people still bring up his food, though his only rule was to have them bring their own tupperware. Chip was a kind-hearted man who cared for those around him before he would focus on himself. He was selfless and always willing to lend a hand or a meal. His children were the joy and pride of his life and nothing made him happier than seeing them succeed. He wished to have his life be celebrated rather than mourned as there is too much doom and gloom in this world. And of course, as a lifelong fan of ZZ Top, “Gimme all your lovin, all your hugs and kisses too”.
