We knew Father Tom at S.S. Cyril and Methodius Parish in Deer Park when he was just starting out. Always a delightful person! He was our Wedding coordinator!
Sincere condolences to the friends and family of Father Tom. We have many fond memories of his time at St Gerard’s. He was always a caring and compassionate spiritual leader. He will be missed!
Father Tom you will be sorely missed with your terrific homilies giving us the education that will live with us forever. Even though I moved on to Florida you are remembered often. You were so graceful in giving me Communion when I felt I was not deserving. Please rest in peace with the Lord. Love to you from earth, Carol (Violin)
Msgr Tom was a wonderful , caring and loving man.
The great impact he had on the families of Good Shepherd will remain for years to come.
Rest In Peace Msgr Tom.
Father Tom is very special to our family. He has been a friend to the mattone family for many years. He is a very special person and will be missed. He married my husband and I and we will always have that special memory.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
Although I am sad that I will never see you again, I am happy that your suffering is over. You are in Heaven where you belong. You have done so much for our parish, and I will never forget. Rest in peace, Monsignor Tom
We spoke only a few months ago, and Dear Fr Tom was as joyful and upbeat as ever, despite his declining health. I want to say to him: “I shall never, ever forget you. Since your days as a curate in St Rose of Lima, to our last conversation a few months ago, your warmth, that beautiful smile that always seemed to say ‘Come, don’t be afraid... God loves you!’, your tender Spirit that shone out all around you, the Love and Grace you brought to everything you did and everyone you met...and OH, SO MUCH MORE. I know you are with our Lord, and with your family up in His Heaven. I have no words for the ache of not having you here with us, as I have no words for HIS Peace and Joy you must be basking in now. Know you shall remain in our hearts, prayers and memory for all time. You, Dear Fr Tom, are unforgettable. You’ll never know how Cherished Appreciated and Loved you were and are. Rest now in His Peace and Love. Your Spirit will continue to inspire us to always see the GOOD in all things, as you did, and to open our hearts to Him and His Mercy and Love. Thank you for sharing your life
with us and Bless your good, kind heart, truly a Heart for God! You are our Angel now!” ❤️ ✝️

To the Spadaro family,
Msgr Tom had a special place in my life. His kindness, gentle demeanor and deep faith touched everyone. He had that beautiful ability to comfort you with a few simple word and release you from all your burdens. It was that type of wisdom that came from the Holy Sprit through him. He eased my pain in a very dark period of my life with tender words and that radiant smile and laugh. I love this man and will forever remember him.
A chapter in my life has closed. God rest Father Tom's soul-he was a cherished friend of my Uncle Bob Brown and an Integral part of my family for over 50 years.
My deepest condolences to all of his family and friends.
