Val was the most kindhearted person. She was welcoming and caring to everyone and her home always felt like my home away from home. I am going to miss walking through the door and seeing her laughing and smiling with Erin or even sitting on the couch with Kevin watching tv. Val was an incredible woman and I am going to forever miss her.

Camille and Mike Long left a message on July 7, 2020:
Mike and Kevin met while attending college @ SUNY Farmingdale and along with Jeff Walters, Cliff Harris, George Caracost and Mark Pandaloglu. Because of that friendship, I got to meet Valerie and the other girlfriends. We all got married within 6 months of eachother. Mike and Kevin also took the Airforce OTS test together. Val and I were good friends for many of those early years, but circumstances, distance and just life separated us a bit. However, I always loved Val. She was a kind caring friend, a devoted mom and wife, and deeply spiritual. All the beautiful things we aspire to be. As sad as I am to kno she lost this battle, I kno with all my heart that she now has no pain and is in the gentle arms of God. I pray for healing and peace for her family, and kno that someday, we will all be together again.
