Rose took me under her wing the first year I came to Sachem. I will never forget her kindness. She was a dearfriend

Rose was a very dear friend of my Mom's, Mary Packey. They met while teaching at Sachem. I was always very fond of Rose. Great lady!

My dearest Rose, How much I will miss your friendship, loyalty, and companionship. You were like the mother I lost so many years ago, the sister I never had and my very best friend. I admired and respected you so much that Jules and I chose you to be our matron of honor at our wedding. We’ll never forget how beautiful you looked in your lavender dress and the wonderful speech you gave at our wedding! When our son Josh was born you attended every event celebrating his life from Birthday parties, graduations and his wedding. Our family included you in all our celebrations because you became one of us. We all admired your intelligence, your physical stamina, your eloquence and above all your love of family! Oh Rose if only knew how much we will miss you. There will never be another one like you again! Hope one day we’ll be reunited. Love you to infinity!

Perhaps the kindest and sweetest family member with whom I was honored to be related. When no one else was there, Aunt Rose was there. She was the mother I didn't have because her beloved sister and my loving mother, Gloria, was taken from us so young. Thank you, Aunt Rose, for your everloving generosity and continual love. I love you. I will miss you.

I will always cherish time spent with Aunt Rose. We solved the worlds problems many times over at our many meetings over the 'round table'! Aunt Rose, your work on earth is done. Go in peace. Join and be with Gloria, Mom, V.J., and Sarah. They are waiting.....
