Kathy, We have been neighbors for over forty years and what I think most about you is your joyful laugh. Your house was always the place to be for the 4th of July when you and Danny had the biggest summer party with most of the neighborhood attending. I remember the special Halloween treats you always had when I would stop by with my granddaughters. I'm glad our children got to spend special times of their growing years with your children and you.

Our sincere condolences to the Boystak & Gesualdi families, especially Dan, Dana & Daniel. Kathy was a devoted daughter, daughter-in-law, sister, wife, mother & grandmother, and friend. We will always remember the memories we shared together: the marriage of our children, the births of our granddaughters, christenings, communions, birthdays, holidays, Florida, and many more. Breanna and Kaleigh have lost their "Mimi", but she will be their guardian angel forever. Rest in Peace Kathy

Dear Aunt Kathy, Thank you so much for being the best aunt and godmother a girl could ask for. You made birthdays, holidays and summers so magical. I remember spending endless time in and around the pool, being lovingly dried off and brought inside where I spent sublime summer evenings being introduced to movies, games and memories that I realize now were an important cornerstone of my childhood. I'll never forget (or be able to recreate) your famous summer cake, your chicken parms, or the image of you rocking leggings and sweatshirts as you effortlessly provided insurmountable hospitality, love and comfort to me. I'm sad that such a wonderful person has left us, but my heart fills with joy at the thought of all the beautiful memories I had the privlege of sharing with you. I will miss you. Until next time... Love, Your Neice and God Daughter Tara

Aunt Kathy, I wish there were enough words to try to explain the type of person you were and what you meant to not only me, but to the rest of our family and anyone who had the privilege of knowing you. You were the aunt that hosted every Christmas Eve as I was growing up, you were the one who never forgot a birthday or holiday, you were the one that would be there anywhere and anytime to support the people you loved. You were the most thoughtful and caring person I knew and I will always remember your beautiful spirit and kind ways. There was never a time that you would turn your back on someone you cared about, you were always there and we were all so lucky to have you. The memories that my family and I got to share with you were more priceless than you could have ever known, you meant the world to every single one of us. I love you and I will see you again one day. You will always be my role model and you have changed my life for the better. Thank you for everything. Love always, Ellie.

To my loving sister in heaven, I've always looked up to you ever since I was a little girl. You've paved the way for me in so many ways. You've guided me through my whole life. When my life was in turmoil, you helped me find my way. In so many ways I don't think I would be here without you. I will always look up to you and now I'm looking up to you in heaven. The countless times you have been there for me and my family are priceless, the memories that you have left will stay in my heart forever. You have taught me that being there for someone is more important and that taking the time to help and listen can change someone's life forever. I love you always. Your sister, Helen

Our deepest sympathies, are with all who ever knew Kathy, her beautiful smile and strength and liove for all she knew I will remember always. My best memory is similar to Ginny s, , hoping I would grow up to be as beautiful as her, and she would brush my hair at nighttime kiss me goodbye and then Helen and I would sneak to each other house and watch who was sneaking out first my brothers or her brothers or sisters! ❤️ I cried the day we had to move from Mirabelle thinking I’ll never see my best friend again and both my momma and Helen s comfortedme and it wasn’t until Kathy & Johnny said we ‘ll always be family♥️ I knew it was okay then and I still can see them all watching as Helen and I kept hugging each other and crying and once before I was ordered get in the car- Kathy came back over to tell me don t cry you and Helen will be like sisters forever!❤️❤️Thank you Kathy because, I have so much love for Helen and will forever be my best friend. When she married Danny, I wasn’t t there but she sent me a wedding picture which I have to this day and over the years through Helen , we kept each other s abreast of all the things happening ,.Kathy and Danny have two beautiful children Dana& Daniel and I know what a wonderful mother she was. It must run in that Boystsk family because Debbie, Johnny, Kathy,Phillip and dear Helen all have made beautiful families, loving, strong in their beliefs and fierce in their love especially when it comes to their children. I am so sorry all if you are in pain, but Kathy is no more in pain , she e with your fantasy mom Dolores and your Dad, Nana& if course Uncle Phil♥️. Heaven most definitely has gained almost beautiful angel, and she us now watching over all of you, she is at peace, and there are no words to take your pain away, I know this. Just look around and remember how much love is with all of you and rememberKathy will forever be with you. Living next door to all of you , had never left any of us , our antics and crazy schemes and all the gang on Mirabelle Ave! Xoxoxo Ian speaking from all the Rolands and then from Jimmy and I, yes please believe me Heaven has just gained an angel named Kathy and I m sure all the angels know how truly special she is forever......I love you Kathy ,rest in peace, Love forever, Mary♥️

My heart goes out to the Gesualdi and Boystak families. Kathy, you and I growing up on Long Island for over 55+ years was a blessing. The eight of us grew up together always having fun. Remember hosing down your car due to all the corn i ate and the pig in the passenger seat of Dannys car on the night before 4th of July. I love you and will alway remember you best friends forever. Love, Gail

Our deepest sympathies to the Gesualdi and Boystak family. As I grew up as Helen's friend I would see you at your house. You were always kind to me. I remember as I was growing up when I would see you I would think what a beautiful girl you were and I would think to myself I hope I grow up to be as beautiful as you. Whenever I saw you at Helen's house for parties, it was always a pleasure seeing and talking to you. Rest in peace Kathy, heaven just gained a beautiful Angel.

Kathy Gesualdi devoted 27 years of her employment life to the Windmill Diner in Shirley, NY. She opened with our diner on July 4th, 1980 and loyally stayed with us until the month we closed in April 2007. Kathy was a well-loved and an excellent waitress. She was a goodwill ambassador to our customers who requested her service throughout the years. As a working mother, she managed to raise two wonderful children who were toddlers when she started. They became fine young adults by the time our time was done in our business commitments in Shirley/Mastic. Kathy was a good friend to many of her coworkers who came and went during her tenure. She hosted many parties with her coworkers in the early years along with her husband Danny. Kathy and Danny became good friends of my brother Stephen who always enjoyed their company. Stephen would invite him to his adventure cruises in his boat cruising about Moriches and the Great South Bay. The Windmill Diner would only have been half as friendly and memorable for customers if we had not had her presence and strong work ethic. I have the fondest memories of her and my mother Anna will always remember her as a part of the formula to our success. I want to extend The Christophers' deepest sympathies and condolences to the Gesualdi family. Your mother was a very good lady and she was loved by many. May God bless her and ease the pain of your loss as heaven's embrace welcomes her.

Our sincere sympathy to the entire Boystakand Gesauldi families. Kathy, we will never forget the fine times we had with you and Danny. The parties and the cruises . Remember that one cruise when we hit the big storm and everyone got sick and all the dishes in the dining room came crashing down and hit you in the foot. It was pretty scary for awhile there, but we still managed to have a good time. Love always Diane & Al, looking forward to cruising with you again someday.

My sincere sympathy to the entire Boystak and Gesauldi family. Words don't do justice to my memories of Kathy. She was my babysitter growing up. She was the one who pierced my ears with a needle and thread. I spent many a summer at Zach's bay with the Boystak family. Kathy had a smile and personality that would light up the room.I will always remember her fondly.
